Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day everybody!!!!!!!!

We enjoyed a lot celebrating the Valentine's day at school. We made beautiful decorations and presents and sang this lovely and funny song.


Feliz San Valentín a todos!!!!!!!

Nos divertimos muchísimo celebrando el día de San Valentín en el cole. Hicimos unas bonitas decoraciones y regalos y cantamos esta hermosa y divertida canción.

The Gingerbread man 1.º-2º

This Christmas time, children in 1º and 2º level are working on the traditional gingerbread man cookie.
En esta Navidad, los alumnos de 1.º y 2.º están trabajando el muñeco traditional de galleta de jengibre.

The Gingerbread man is a cookie made of gingerbread in the shape of a man, especially for Christmas.
It first appeared in the court of Queen Elizabeth I. But It also has a long history in mainland Europe.
El muñeco de jengibre es una galleta hecha de pan de jengibre con la forma de un hombre especialmente elaborado en Navidad. 
Esta galleta apareció primero en la corte de la reina Elizabeth I, en Inglaterra, aunque también tiene una larga historia en el continente europeo.

The Gingerbread man often had a gingerbread house to live in. 
El hombrecillo de jengibre tiene a menudo su casita de jengibre.

We have listened to the traditional tale of the Gingerbread man about a cookie who came to life, escaped from an elderly couple and various animals and later gets devoured by a fox in the end.

Hemos escuchado el cuento tradicional del Hombre de jengibre que trata sobre una galleta que cobra vida, escapa de una pareja de ancianos, varios animales y finalmente es devorado por un lobo.

We are learning this Gingerbread man song for the Christmas festival at school.
Estamos aprendiendo la canción del muñeco de jengibre para la actuación de Navidad del cole.

Under the sea 1.º/2.º

Children in 1º and 2º level are learning about the sea this term.
We started the school year talking about the sharks which arrived to Salinetas and we listened to this story about a shark.

Los alumnos de 1.º y 2.º estamos aprendiendo muchas cosas sobre el mar durante este trimestre.

Empezamos el curso hablando sobre los tiburones que llegaron a Salinetas y escuchamos esta historia sobre un tiburón.

We also decorate the class door and we make a mural about friendship with the story characters.

También decoramos la puerta de la clase e hicimos un mural sobre la amistad con los personajes del cuento.

Halloween at Juan Negrín School

These are some of the best moments from Halloween celebration.
Children enjoyed a lot decorating, making masks, singing, dancing and giving sweets to other classmates. It was a great experience!

Estos son algunos de los mejores momentos de la celebración de Halloween.
Los niñ@s se divirtieron muchísimo decorando, haciendo las caretas, cantando, bailando y repartiendo chuches a todos los compañeros.
